How do I open the HAN port / connection port on the AMS meter at the network owner / network company?
In order to be able to use the Equalizer or other similar equipment to be connected to the HAN port on your AMS meter, you must contact the network company / network owner yourself to gain access to this port / output. This enables the equipment to receive information from the current meter (AMS meter).
The opening of the HAN port can take up to 3 weeks and the processing time will vary between the various network companies.
Below we have listed how you go about opening the HAN port at most internet companies. If you cannot find your network company, it will be easiest to contact customer service directly at the network company and ask them to open the HAN port of the AMS meter.
