Charging cables from Jazzy2Go™ are exclusively designed and developed for electric vehicles and combine ease of use, functionality and durability. This is a mode 3 charging cable type 2 (IEC-62196) to type 1 (SAE J1772) for charging electric cars and plug-in hybrids (PHEV) with up to 32A (7.4kW/1-phase). It fits electric cars with a type 2 charging contact (e.g. Hyundai IONIQ Opel Ampera-e and Chevrolet Bolt EV) and fits charging stations with type 2 outlet/plug.

Molded and Epoxy-Filled Plugs Epoxy creates a solid mass that fills the entire plug and spreads warmth evenly, thus avoiding overheating of the charging contact. Fully molded plugs seal and protect the conductors and improve water resistance.	Resistant to Cable Breaks Extra long cable strain reliefs protect the conductors from breaking where the cable enters the plug, increasing the product's lifespan.
Robust and Flexible Cable Internal cable routing is padded to fill free space inside the cable, reducing stress during bending and twisting of the cable. Optimal thickness of the insulation provides longer durability, increased security and maximum flexibility.	Chip Resistance Significantly more stable than standard "axial" resistance which is more prone to breakage due to external influences or falling from heights.

User-Friendly

The charging cable is delivered in a specially designed storage bag, keeping it clean and safe while in storage. On the back of the bag there is a removable Velcro system that allows the bag to be attached to either the floor or the luggage compartment wall of your trunk- so it stays in place while in motion.

To reduce dirt and grime from getting into your car, the Jazzy2Go™ comes with a pair of microfiber mitts so you can easily wipe down the charging cable if it gets dirty/wet. 

Charging cables from Jazzy2Go™ use quality components and cables (TPE/PUR) that have been tested in different climates. This means that the charging cable is easy to wind up after use as it remains soft and usable in sub-zero temperatures. 

Functionality

Jazzy2Go™ has been developed with a long life span in mind. The cable relief from the end of the plug is extra long- preventing damage/breakage of the charging cable. That is why the plug(s) are completely cast in fireproof material, and filled with heat-dispersing epoxy that conducts away heat and protects the conductors. Ergonomic rubberized handles ensure a good grip when using the cable. 

Cables from Jazzy2Go™ are supplied with solid protective covers for each plug that protect against dirt, dust and moisture during storage. 

The charging cable is secured against theft by supporting auto lock, and it will also lock to the charging station during charging if the charging point supports this. Drainage holes in the bottom of the plug eliminates freezing in the socket.

The cable is tested according to IEC 62335 and is, therefore, very robust and can withstand being run over by a car. All charging cables from Jazzy2Go™ comply with all regulations and are CE and TÜV-certified.
