Ratio Electric Home Box is a charging station for up to 22kW which is developed for private and semi-private use, and it supports all power grids - 230V 1/3-phase (IT) and 400V 3-phase (TN). The charging station offers ease of use and safe charging in accordance with regulations (IEC 61851).
Practical and Universal Solutions
Home Box charging station enables mode 3 charging and can be supplied with a 5 or 10 meter fixed charging cable with type 2 plug. A fixed charging cable makes charging the car convenient and easy. Likewise, the charging station can also be supplied with a type 2 connector/ outlet, which makes it flexible- capable of charging all plug-in hybrids and electric cars safely and quickly. This is something we generally recommend, as it is a universal solution that all cars can use.
User Friendly
The charging station also has that option of to adjust the charging current between 6/8/10/12/14/16/20/24/28/32A in case the need arises. This is easily done via the rotation wheel inside the charging box.
A separate electricity meter (kWh meter) is practical for documenting consumption or if you just want to see how much electricity has been used. The power meter can be ordered here (her).
RCD-DD / DC-RCM (Residual current module) New regulations (NEK 400:2018-722 norm) require that all new current courses that are to be used to charge electrical vehicles must have an earth fault circuit breaker type B or equivalent DC protection. The charging station has an integrated DC-RCM module of 6mA which takes care of the DC protection and means that you do not need earth fault protection type B installed in the fuse box.Assembly/ Installation
After receiving your charging station from us, you can easily install it by contacting one of our installation partners or your local electrician. By agreement, our partners will visit your for an inspection and will provide a price quote for installation that is right for your particular case.
According to regulations on electrical equipment §21, we are obliged to inform our customers that all electrical equipment intended to be part of a fixed electrical installation can only be installed by an authorized and registered installation company installasjonsvirksomhet.

Questions and Answers
Do I have to have earth fault protection Type B on the current course if I install Ratio Home Box with DC-RCM?
No, you do not need to install an earth fault protection Type B on the current course in the fuse box to meet the requirements (NEK 400:2018-722 norm). It will do with a normal circuit breaker/ combi circuit breaker with Type A on the course.
Does the Ratio Home Box support 11kW 230V/ 3-phase (IT)?
Yes, the charging station supports this, but note that not all cars support such a solution. If your car does not support a so-called "2-phase" solution, the car will automatically subtract 1 phase and get a maximum of 16A (3.7 kW).
What is a supply cable? A supply cable is a short cable where one end is mounted in the charging station and the other end is an industrial plug. It allows you to connect this directly to an industrial socket.
