Renault ZOE's on-board charger does not support the Norwegian IT network. In order to charge form all mains/ sockets an isolation transformer is, therefore, needed. The isolation transformer (the "bucket") creates a local power network (TN network) by creating a galvanic separation. With the SPARK BOX, you can charge your Renault ZOE in all sockets. Both TN and IT networks. 

The charging box has a temperature sensor which adjusts the amperage down if the temperature gets too high. This, in turn, extends the life of the product. 

The charging box has an LED light for status:

Fits all Renault ZOEs and all cars with a type 2 charging contact in the car.
