Wallb-e Eco 2.0 is a charging station with a charging power of up to 7.4kW. It has been specially developed for private use. It offers exceptional ease of use and comfort, as well as safe charging according to regulations (IEC 61851).

Flexible, Practical and User friendly

The charging station is supplied with a type 2 socket/outlet. Equipped with integrated cable holder and plug/ plug holder. A type 2 connector provides a flexible solution and enables the charging of all types of plug-in hybrids and electric cars (with a suitable mode 3 charging cable). The cable holder and plug holder provide an easy and tidy solution to use and store the charging cable. With a degree of protection of IP54, it is very suitable for outdoor use. Wallb-e is compatible with all electric vehicles on the European market.

DC-RCM module (Residual current monitoring module)

An RCM module is an AC/DC sensitive earth fault monitoring module. The charging station is supplied with an integrated RCM module which switches to 6mA DC (direct  voltage) and eliminates the need for a separate type B earth fault circuit breaker. This means that there is no need to install a separate earth fault protection type B in the fuse box.

Access Control

The key switch makes it easy and user-friendly to use the charging station, while allowing you to grant access to individual users.

Lock and Release Module

The charging station is supplied with a lock and release module. Standard compatible charging stations lock the cable during charging to prevent theft or damage. In the event of a power cut, the charging cable will be stuck in some charging stations, but Wallb-e will release your charging cable in the event of a power cut.

Adjusting the Current

Wallb-e can be adjusted between steps: 6A-10A-13A-16A-20A-32A. Adjustment is done by simply opening the charging station and by turning a switch with a screwdriver for the desired amperage on the charge controller.

Current Detection

Standard compatible charging stations only provide power if the electric vehicle sends a certain signal to the charging station. A normal charging station without current detection does not detect a fault where the current is always screwed to the charging cable or the type 2 connector. Your Wallb-e has this feature and detects this to prevent damage to your or the equipment.

Options

Wallb-e can be supplied with a supply cable with a red CEE industrial plug so that it becomes semi-portable. This means that the charging station becomes "plug and play" and you only need to mount an industrial socket.

Assembly/ Installation

After receiving your charging station from us, you can easily install it by contacting one of our installation partners (installasjonspartnere) or your local electrician. By agreement, our partners will visit you for an inspection and provide a price quote for installation that is right for your particular case.

According to regulations on electrical equipment §21, we are obliged to inform our customers that all electrical equipment intended to be part of a fixed electrical installation can only be installed by an authorized and registered installation company installasjonsvirksomhet.
